My story

I began my career journey in web design while working in higher-ed post-graduation. Several years into working in this field, Covid hit and the dynamic of the working world changed.

While it was a difficult year - and at its peak during the pandemic - I decided to take a course on UX & web design through the UCLA Extension program to engage in something creative while I had so much more time on my hands working remote and being hunkered down at home.

It was during that course that I discovered how much I enjoy not only creating beautiful designs, but also the intentionality of making meaningful impact through digital products, specifically, websites.

Currently, I work full-time as a Web Designer and Project Manager for a local tech company in the world of property management, where I have built 200+ websites. I absolutely love what I do.

My experience

I have 4 years of web design experience and 12 years of project management. In addition, I have 11 years of hospitality experience within the restaurant industry where I aimed to provide gold standard service to my customers.

I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters of Arts degree in Education, both from University of California, Santa Barbara.

I decided to pursue freelance work because I love beautiful aesthetics and have a passion for elevating small businesses, designers, and artists in making their work shine through beautiful web designs!

I believe that integrity, intentionality, and trust are essential for building a partnership. My intention is to treat each of my clients and their projects with honor and care, as their website is supposed to represent them well as they embark in a new season of marketing their hard-earned business intentionally.
